Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler Mix: An adopted dog in Bridgewater, NS

Large • Adult • Female
Astra is a beautiful big girl who loves people very much. She loves attention and people to take care of her and to play with her. She likes playing ball. She is roughly 5 years old! Astra prefers to choose her dog friends. She had some issues with one of the shelter dog when she arrived, but she is fine with most of the other dogs. She needs an experienced owner who is patient and has time and love for her. In summer, she loves to play in our dog swimming pool and entertains the staff with her silliness. Splashing and playing around. Please come and meet with Astra :) Astra is a brave girl who donated her blood to an injured dog and saved a life! BRAVO ASTRA!

Shelter Hours:
Open to the Public Tuesday to Friday, 12:00 NOON to 3 PM and Saturdays 11AM to 4 PM Year Round.

Closed Sunday and Monday.
