Hello, My name is Henry and I am a mini, silver schnauzer whose story is so sad that I had to write it for my foster Mom. I was found last month late one night on a Louisville, Ky. street. I was starving and sneezing from a bad cold that I had when admitted into their local shelter. I think because I looked and sounded so bad, I had the feeling that no one wanted me. I even heard that I might be killed for no reason. Miracles do happen to dogs because on the last day a Schnauzer Rescue volunteer was moving out of state...she came in and rescued me! Angels are real! She took me to Cincinnati and I have been living in a wonderful foster home with three step-brothers and a sister. Now that I am healthy, I am getting a grooming this week and a dental checkup next week. I also have a microchip so that I will never be lost again. I am completely housetrained, know how to use the doggie doors, love to take walks and best of all....love...

I am completely housetrained, know how to use the doggie doors, love to take walks and best of all....love to snuggle right by you. I know that I am safe here as long as I need to be; but I am hoping for just one more miracle....a forever home to call my own. I would love for you to make that happen. Thanks for reading my story and the story of many other rescues just like me. Henry Henry is being fostered in Cincinnati by Shirley and his adoption fee is $275.
