Must be in a home that has the following: Someone that has a strong personality. Enya needs a strong leader that will correct her with positive training. Enya would do well in a home by herself or maybe with a submissive male or female.
Medical issues: Left rear leg is still in the stifle and hock joint. Previous owners had leg treated for a fracture. She was put in a cast and the cast was left on too long and created the inability for her to bend her knee and ankle.
9-2010 Hi, my name is Enya and I would like to take a few minutes of your time to tell you about myself! I am told that I am a BEAUTIFUL young lady. I am fawn with white markings on my chest and paws. I have a black mask that is as soft as velvet. My eyes are very dark brown and are very soulful. I have natural ears and a docked tail that is longer than usual. I am taller than most females, once I get my correct weight, I will probably be 55 to 60 pounds. I do well with commands such as sit, down, stay and come. I love to play and am a very loving dog. My previous owners had my leg treated for a fracture and they did not care enough about me to have the cast removed in time so now I have a stiff left rear leg. I manage very well with it. I run, walk, play, sit and lay down with it just fine. In other words it really does not slow me down! I am learning about leash manners and socialization. I am very good on a one on one basis because I love my people company. I am very loving and listen well. Please look my pictures and watch my video. The video will let you see I have lots of personality. Hope to meet you soon! XXOO ~ Enya Needs work on: Leash manners, Socialization with other dogs, and different surroundings. 8/2/10 Well, I have been here almost a month and am fitting in pretty nicely. I get along well with most of the other dogs-I am really careful around the smaller ones. There is one big bossy one who irritates me sometimes. She tries to push me around and I just am NOT having it. My foster mom told me she can tell I try really hard not to let that big ole bossy thing rile me up but sometimes I can't help it. I don't bark at cars anymore and do great on my walks. I still let my folks know when someone is on their property but they know I'm being protective. I still need to put on a few pounds - they feed me so much but I am so energetic that I haven't gained a lot. My favorite is when they take me in the car or I get to play in the pool. I may only have three functioning legs but don't let it fool you - I am fast as lightening and LOVE to run!!! I will be the best pet ever and lucky for you I am SUPER patient..don't leave me waiting for you too long :>) 7/19/20 My name is Enya. Im a 3 year old fawn girl who was pulled from a shelter and came to live with my people yesterday. I am a little skinny and rough around the edges. My foster mom says I need to work on my social skills. What makes up for that is my lovingness, at least thats what the humans say. I LOVE to ride in the car and am super in the crate. I went for my first walk with the family last night and I barked at a few cars and a couple of the dogs around the neighborhood. My humans say it's not my fault that I don't know how behave because no one ever taught me until now. I am a quick learner and I am sooooooooo sweet. Im getting ready for my forever family so I hope to meet you soon:)
