Pebbles is a baby Jack Russell Terrier puppy who is about 5 months old on 7/27/10. She only weighs 7 pounds, so she will be a very small girl. Pebbles came to us after her owner threw her against a wall and the police were called. Due to Ohio's lax animal cruelty laws, her owner may not even face charges for his heinous actions. Luckily Pebbles survived without serious injury and is now in a wonderful foster home where she is receiving the love her owner should have given her. We take a lot of cruelty cases - not just pit bulls - because we believe strongly in showing abused animals how compassionate and loving all humans should be. We think that Pebbles will make someone a lovely companion, and she is a testament to how Ohio's animal cruelty laws need to be strengthened. A completed adoption application, a $100.00 adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. Our normal adoption restrictions include the following: you must be at least 25 years old to adopt this animal, must have a securely fenced in yard, and must own your own home.
