Lizzy Yorkshire Terrier & Lhasa Apso Mix Plain City, OH

Lizzy (on the blanket in the picture) is a young Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix. She was a bit of a mess when we got her . . . covered in fleas with some hair loss from all the scratching, poor girl. But we got her cleaned up and on her way to her new home. We recently received an update from Lizzy's new family, "Lizzy” is now “Baby Cakes”…we had to change her name because she has a “cousin” named Gizzy that visits often and we thought the names sounded too close. Baby Cakes is a sweetheart. She has settled into life in our home as if she had been here from day one. Her “older sister” Tootles was not too happy having her moving in and having so much energy. But, Tootles is coming around and I even catch them napping together ocasionally. The first pic is one I took where Tootles was snoozing in my recliner and Baby Cakes decided that was a good idea, so she jumped up and settled down on the blanket . . . She is a delight to have around. Thank you all for what you do. Keep up the good work."
