Pomeranian/Papillon Mix: An adopted dog in Los Angeles, CA

My name is Onyx and I am a 1 yr old Papillon and Pomeranian mix. I am only 4 lbs and am full grown. My friends call me Lumpy because I am warm like a small lump of coal.

I am a sweetheart and will keep you company for hours. I get along with other dogs and people of all ages. I am fun, cute, adorable and cuddly.

My previous family abandoned me and I was found as a stray. Maybe they gave up on me because I was born with a collapsed trachea and because of that, I tend to have a reverse snort of sorts when I get excited.

X-rays at the vet show that it is nothing serious, no surgery is needed. Whew! I cough when I get too excited from playtime. But no worries!

Because I am black, many people could not see me in my shelter cage against the dark gray, concrete, background. Others thought that because of my color, I would be a bad dog or bring...

Nothing could be further from the truth! My beautiful, onyx coat is very shiny and best appreciated in the open air freedom away from the steel bars of a shelter. When in the sun, you can see that I actually went to the salon and had mother nature be my colorist because I have shiny, beautiful brown highlights! As far as luck, Ill turn even your gloomiest days into happy ones by being your confidante and faithful companion.

I've got a terrific personality and for all you single people out there, I am 100% guaranteed to attract the opposite sex when taken out for a walk. So if you want to meet new people, take me out for a walk and watch as my admirers find something to admire about you too for adopting me!

Pet Peeve: Not being allowed to sleep on the bed.

Naughtiest Deed: Spit out my vitamins.

Favorite Pastime:Getting snuck in where bigger dogs arent allowed.

Fastest Meal Consumed: Any meal on the menu in the first class compartment of any plane going someplace fun and exciting.
