Meet Olive-Oyl
Congratulations Olive-Oyl! Adopted December 2011!
Olive-Oyl is a female red-ear slider turtle. She's about 5-inches (front to back), and curious about her environment. She'll gladly eat any fish that's slow enough to let her catch it, but enjoys pellet food too (it doesn't present as much of a challenge). She currently lives in a 55-gallon aquarium, but will need 120-150 gallons or larger when full grown.
Adoption fee applies: $25
Remember, it is illegal to introduce non-native species to the wild. Olive-Oyl will only go to a home that can provide an indoor home, so she does not accidentally escape a pond into the wild.
