A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!

6/7/10: Hi! My name is Bear Bear and what a cute boy I am! I was surrendered to the shelter due to supposed ear infections which have not been able to find at this point. So my rescue is going to see exactly what is going on. I am a bit more shy and reserved initially but feel with the right love and security, I will blossom. I was extremely fearful in the shelter environment. Right now I am thinking I would do best in a quieter environment but am hoping to get a better idea once I get comfortable in my foster home.

I will need regular grooming in order to maintain my nice coat. I love to go for walks and I walk well on a leash. I love to be petted and if you go slow, I am more than happy to be hugged. I also think I am housetrained! Am I the dog for you? :-)

I am 4 years old, am neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm checked and on preventative heartworm meds,...

ADOPTION FEE IS $300.



WE ALSO REQUIRE ONGOING PROPER VETERINARY CARE FOR ALL ANIMALS ADOPTED TO INCLUDE HEARTWORM MEDICATIONS, FLEA MEDICATIONS, AND YEARLY VACCINATIONS.

Our adoption fees average $150-400 for dogs and puppies. This is due to the rising costs of veterinary care, gasoline prices, and boarding fees which are paid for out of our own pockets. As we are not funded by anyone - adoption donations help to offset only a part of our cost of getting the dog ready for adoption. All dogs > 6months are vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and wormed. Puppies < 6 months will have at least 2 puppy vaccinations, microchipped, and wormed. If age appropriate, will potentially also be spayed/neutered and have rabies vaccination also. You will be required to provide proof of spaying/neutering after adoption along with a rabies vaccination, if necessary. Kittens and Cats are typically $35-75 based on the vet care. If mature enough all will be spayed/neutered.

WE REQUIRE A FACE-TO-FACE MEETING FOR ALL ADOPTIONS - WE DO NOT SHIP OUR ANIMALS. WE ALSO DO NOT ADOPT OUR ANIMALS AS GIFTS UNLESS WE MEET WITH THE RECIPIENT PRIOR TO ADOPTION.
