Deion Burmese Mix East Derry, NH

Deion is a Pure Bred Chocolate Point Burmese. He was born on June 29, 1996. He was neurted at 6 months old. He is strictly an indoor cat.

Health: He has U.R. I. ( upper respiratory infection) which he has had since he was a kitten. He gets occasional flare ups that do require antibiotic treament such as Baytril or Orbax. Overall he is a very healthy cat that is up to date on all his shots.

Personality: Deion is extremely friendly, lovable cat. He is needy in the sense that he is clingy and loves to be around people. He doesn't get along well with other animals. He is very trusting, you can cradle him like a baby and he will just sit in your arms and fall asleep. He is a fun-loving, playful male cat. Don't let his age fool you he is very energetic and acts more like a kitten than a senior cat.

All cats adopted through GDHS have tested negative for feline leukemia, have current distemper and rabies inoculations, and adults are spayed/neutered. Kittens are adopted with a certificate for spay/neuter before they reach 6 months of age.

Note: Local candidates are always given preferential treatment and calls outside of the New England states will not be returned. We will NEVER ship any of our animals regardless of the suitability of the prospective home.

By requesting information on an animal and initiating the screening process, it is not a guarantee that the particular animal that you have inquired about is yours to adopt. This is only the first stage of the adoption process. GDHS does not place our animals on a "first come, first served" basis, but do adopt to the best home possible for the animal.
