Meet Damien

Meet Damien a 4-5 year old Pit bull Terrier mixed with Shepherd. He weighs about 65lbs, is leash and crate trained, loves other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets. From the time Damien was a puppy, he was socialized with other dogs of all sizes and children. In fact, Damien’s companion dog was a cockapoo. His family had to move and could not take him with them. Downtown Dog Rescue took him into the rescue because we have known Damien since he was two years old. He spent a lot of time chained to his dog house on the porch but he was loved by his family. Unfortunately, the neighbors Bandogs hopped the fence one day, attacked Damien and poked out his eye. By the time that we rescued Damien, the damage was done, he is now blind in one eye. There is no surgery or treatment for his eye. He has been neutered, current on vaccinations and is microchipped. Damien would make a wonderful family pet!
