Meet Pitty Pat URGENT!

When Pitty greets you at the door with her sweet headbutts, you might not realize how special she is. She is a CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) kitty, which means she has a development disorder that impacts her motor skills. She’s not in any pain and can eat/drink, use the litter pan and walk on her own. Soon you will know Pitty lives up to the spirit and playfulness these cats are known to have. Pitty loves to play and especially loves to hunt whatever is on the end of a wand toy. When you hear the “pitter patter” of her feet, you know she’s playing or coming to see you—often for a belly rub! Pitty is tightly bonded with Tippy, another CH kitty, and you will often find them snuggling together. Pitty is equally at home in your lap or cuddled in your arms, with her head tucked close against you. Pitty is very mobile, with that distinctive CH kitty walk. She can climb to low heights (sofa height), but her balance issues make steps a danger, so precautions need to be taken via the use of baby gates. Besides lots of play, an ideal day from Pitty’s perspective includes basking in the sun in her bolster bed and a good brushing every night to keep her gorgeous coat its silky best.
