Domestic Short Hair-Black: An adopted cat in Cincinnati, OH

At 8 pounds and 2.5 years old, Tovah is a wonderful & beautiful little lady. She is also as sweet as can be. Tovah and her 'friend' Leah were brought to our attention when another rescuer passed away with no local family to look after the cats in her care. The cats were found hiding in the basement and very frightened. It took a few months for Tovah to fully trust us but has been a real love bug ever since. She is very quiet but loves to rub against your legs and enjoys being petted and held. Though she has a very meek personality, she is confident and gets along very well with other cats. Her new family will need to be very gently folks, as she is a little jumpy with people - loud or sudden noises and strangers tend to startle her. The family needs to be familiar with cats and patient to allow Tovah time to adjust to the transition, as it may be difficult and stressful for her.
