Meet Guiness - Adopted

Arrival story: Guiness came to us from a shelter when his time was nearly up.

Approximate age / weight: 9 months/ 48 lbs.

Personality: What a handsome boy! Guiness is a very happy and good-natured dog. He gets along great with the other dogs. He is a calm and quiet boy, rarely barking, and does well in his crate. He is still a puppy, so he needs a little work on his manners and learning not to jump, but he is a quick learner and already knows how to sit.

Guiness is fully housetrained! Way to go, Guiness! He would love to curl up at your feet or have his belly rubbed. He also walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys walks through the park.

Forever home: Guiness would do well in a variety of home settings. Because he loves to run and play, a home with a fenced yard would be perfect for him. Contact: dspatton1@sbcglobal.net Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - http://www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoptionprocess.html. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group). Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
