Chicco the Happy Hound

Chicco’s papers might say that he’s eight years old, but don’t try to tell him that. This happy, active senior still chases after his squeaky pig like a puppy.

Aside from some possible seasonal allergies, he is in tip-top physical shape. His build is stockier than most Chins, but he wears it well.

Chicco is a lower-energy dog. He keeps up with his foster father’s stride when they go out for walks, but at home is happy to snooze away on the couch. Chicco gets somewhat agitated by unfamiliar dogs, but plays well with other fosters he knows, and has a truce with the cats in the house.

He is very well-behaved and housebroken. His worst flaw is that he appears to have been fed from the table in the past, and still flashes his baby-browns to try to wheedle food from your plate at suppertime. He is hard to resist!
