Age: 8 months

Good with dogs: Yes

Good with cats: Yes

Good with kids: Yes

Weight: 32 lbs

Name/Nicknames: Millie

My Story: I was found as a stray on the Red Lake reservation. Thankfully I found my way to the cities and Pet Haven.

Hobbies: Playing is my mission in life. I love big dogs, medium dogs, cats, kids, anything with a pulse that will play with me.

Tricks/Commands: I'm still learning. Currently I can sit nicely for a treat and am learning how to walk on a leash.

Crate Trained: Yup! I even go in there by myself at night and sleep in there with the door open.

Potty Trained: Almost 100%. I need someone around for part of the day still to take me outside. I am small so being left alone for 8-9 hours is too long for me. I need my peeps around OK?

Size in pounds: 32 lbs. I should maybe gain another 10lbs and get a tiny bit taller.

Activity Level: I am a typical puppy that has lots of energy to burn off and would love an active family that has time to play with me. I do settle down for naps and sleep through the night.

Fun things I do: I will play all day if you let me. I have lots of toys to toss around. And many bones to chew on. there are some cats here in my foster home that I would love to play with but they are not interested in that. Too bad because I am a good playmate.

Socialization/who I currently live with: I live with a foster mom and dad, their daughter, three canine siblings and three cats. It is a houseful and I love it here but would love even more a family I can call my own.

Foster Home update:

Millie is very busy. She has settled into our routine pretty well. And her personality is coming out more and more. The dogs and I get up pretty early and they go out, do their thing then come in for breakfast. My dogs eat and directly go back to bed. But not Millie, it's go time for her. So she keeps me company in the kitchen while I make coffee and then we have been going back outside to feed the birds and play "Throw the Hippo". She is catching on to dropping the hippo for me to throw. She's so dang cute when she plays.
And we did have a break through last night. Her and Rufus FINALLY started playing. Rufus has been so reserved, but decided a game of chase and tackle would be fun.
Millie is still working on her potty training and is doing a great job. She sleeps in her crate all night with the door open and is also getting the hang of walking on the leash. She is really going to make a family a sweet companion. And who couldn't love those goofy ears.

Millie is attending Pet Haven's medium/large dog adoption events and her adoption fee is $335 (cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.

Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
