Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff Mix: An adopted dog in Lansing, KS

Zeus is about 3 years old. He was found about a year ago, starved with a hole in his chest from being shot with a BB and had heartworms. After recovering from his injuries, he was treated for heartworms, had his teeth cleaned, and is now up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, and he is a happy, healthy boy. He weighs about 70 pounds and may be a pit-mastiff mix. He gets along great with other larger dogs but probably wouldn't do well with a cat. He absolutely LOVES children (hence, his name) and plays with our 2 and 4 year old neices, letting them ride on his back and making sure they don't fall. He is just a gentle giant.

Zeus enjoys laying in the sun with his other foster sisters, playing tug-o-war, and he likes water but is hesitant on swimming, unless there is something great for him to go after! He really likes the bottom end of the dam at Longview lake and stays close without a leash. He knows all of the...

He is a very laid back, low maintenance boy that would do well in any loving home, but he does love wearing clothes and feels very special when he is dressed.
