Meet Tidbit

Tidbit is a special lady who loves to be outside, take naps, and carefully explore her surroundings. She almost never barks. She weighs 7 pounds and is between 10-12 years old, hard of hearing and mostly blind with cataracts. But that does not keep her from exploring and walking around wherever she is, albeit carefully. Her foster mom says she is housetrained because she only does her business outside, although because she is blind, she has a hard time finding her way to the door and down the stairs. So she is just put out every few hours and within a minute or two is done. She doesn't pay much attention to other dogs, and is tolerant of the preschool-aged girl in her home. There is nothing she wants more than to be cared for by my forever mom or dad and know that she is safe and loved. Could that be you?

Tidbit is spayed, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, has had a fecal, had a dental, is on flea and tick prevention, and is micro-chipped. Tidbit has dry eye and will need ointment applied to her eyes daily for the rest of her l;ife. This medication costs about $25 per month. Her adoption fee is $280.

You must fill out an adoption application before you are allowed to meet the animal. Please complete the adoption application located on our website.
Small Dog Rescue of MN does not negotiate the adoption fee on our dogs and we must charge sales tax on all adoption fees in order to comply with Minnesota state law. Please note that SDR is philisophically opposed to the idea of buying and selling animals, and we support any future legislation that would remove sales tax from adoption fees. Until then, however, we must charge it.
We are offering a microchip placement for your resident dog for small donation to our rescue
Please note that we do not have a shelter, and all dogs are in foster homes.
Since we strive to provide the best possible care for our animals, sometimes we cannot answer emails promptly. Please allow 48 hours for us to respond to you.
You must be 18 years of age to make an adoption request
