Pink Great Dane Mix Iron Station, NC

6/13/10: Hey people!! My name is Pink and I'm a 4 year old deaf, visually impaired Great Dane girl. But don't let that fool you!! That doesn't stop me from being able to get around in new environments!! I do see shadows and use my nose to identify things or to find my people. In my foster home, I only bump into things when I turn too quickly trying to follow my foster family. I do have a harder time seeing things at night sometimes though. My foster mom says I'm the epitome of a "velcro-dog"! What can I say, I love my people!! They also say I'm the calmest dog ever. Sometimes, I'm so quiet, I think they forget I'm here! Hehe! All I want to do is find a soft spot on the couch or snuggle up to my people in the bed. I'm great with all animals as well as my two foster skin-kids (both under 5). They climb all over me and I don't mind a bit!! The one thing I don't really like is being left alone. I prefer to be with my people most of the time. I REALLY don't like being contained in a small space or a room but I don't really need to be as I'm fully trustworthy in the house. A family that is home most of the day would be ideal for me and make me feel much more comfortable in my new home. Everyone says I'd make a great family dog and would even do well as an only dog. All I need is a home to call my own!! Pink's adoption fee is $300
