Schnauzer Mix: A dog on hold in Sharonville, OH

Hi, my name is Brody. I am a special little schnoodle, and I am looking for a special owner. I was an owner surrender, but they didnt tell me why they didnt want me anymore. I have been in school for about 2 months now. I am getting extra special attention from my behavior training teacher. Her name is Lydia and her assistant is Amy. I really like Lydia and Amy because they are helping me to be a better companion, and they play games with me. I must admit, I do have a couple issues, but I am working very hard to extinguish those behaviors. For some reason, I do not like to be picked up around my belly. I had bladder stones when I was living at my former owners house, but SRC got my surgery and they are gone now, but I still dont like to be picked up around my mid section. I also think I would behave better if I could only have one mommy or one daddy. I have a tendency to attach to one person. My nice vet has put me on a trial of Phenobarbital to see if that will help me with my issues. My trainers tell me that they think it helps me. I am a very smart little dog, if I do say so myself. I can learn tricks in a matter of minutes. I am housetrained and crate trained. I am updated on all my vaccinations, neutered and heartworm negative. I have the most beautiful and soft gray and white fur, as you can see in my picture. The only thing I want in life is to be loved and understood. Is there someone out there that would have the patience, understanding and experience in working with a dog like me? I sure hope so; I still have a lot of living to do, as I am only 5 years old. Brody can be such a sweetheart, and he is right, he is so smart. We are going to be very discerning when it comes to his adoption. It must be the right fit.
