Mystic is a very rare Blue Border Collie. She was an owner surrender into a shelter at 8 years old. She was out of time at the shelter when ABC Rescue came in and saved her. She was matted, covered in feces, and obviously not well cared for. Now that she has been in rescue, she is cleaned up, learning to live indoors with a family, and loving life!!!

Mystic still has a lot of energy and loves, loves, loves, to play ball and frisbee. She will bring it back and put it in your hand for the game to continue. But, with her age, she also settles very nicely and loves to go belly-up for tummy rubs!! Mystic loves all people and when she looks at you with her gorgeous brown and blue eyes, your heart just melts!!

It seems that Mystic was not well socialized with other dogs during her early days. She has had to learn that it’s not always about her!!! She is learning to share toys and treats, but will need a family with training on how to keep her manners in tact. She is crate trained, house broken, and walks well on her leash. She also rides very well in a car.

Mystic has had to have some teeth removed due to decay, and is currently being treated for heartworms. When her heartworm treatment is over she will be healthy and up to date on all shots.
