Meet Wee One
WeeOne is rather scared. She is NOT feral and will NOT bite out of fear, but she was poorly socialized. Her new home will need to understand this and have patience with her. Once settled in WeeOne will take a liking to her humans and will appreciate them and their company- it will just take time to get there. APL staff can guarantee the work will be worth it for this sweet girl. She ADORES other dogs, and she ignores cats. APL staff recommends WeeOne goes to a home that has at least one other dog. After she settles in you can even take her out to things like dog parks and even walks for extra bonding and socialization with other dogs and humans. She was adopted out to an elderly lady for a time and was housebroken, but her mom generally left the back door open for her to go in and out as desired. We think she would do awesome with a doggie door.
