Astrid means "beautiful as a goddess" and that perfectly describes this 2 year old girl! She is petite with silky medium-length black fur, full and puffy tail and dazzling green eyes and it just so happens that this Goddess is searching for a Forever Home where she'll be treated like a queen!

Astrid is healing from a recent surgery to correct a knee injury, known as a "cruciate ligament rupture". She is on the mend and ready to start a new indoor-only life with a special person she can shower with love and affection. . .and of course, she'll want the same in return!

Astrid is an easy-going, playful cat - not skittish or bothered by moderate commotion. She "talks" with really cute squeaks and trills; she will tell you when she's ready for affection (but she's game anytime). She enjoys plenty of pets or snuggling on a lap. This cat loves adults, but with a little time, she warms up to and becomes tolerant of children as well. We've loved having Astrid in our home and we'll miss her as we move on to help other kitties.
