Picket Labrador Retriever Mix Plain City, OH

Picket is the friendliest, happiest dog you will ever meet. He was saved along with Rally when one of our volunteers went to protest the use of the gas chamber at the Licking County Animal Shelter (get it? Picket and Rally!) She pulled him out of LCAS and brought him to our kennel. Picket was there quite a while waiting for him forever home. But he stayed just as sweet and friendly; he loved playing with the other dogs. And then his new family found him!! Here is what they have to say about Picket, "Just wanted to give an update on Picket whom we adopted at the end of July. I have two kids, one 8 and the other 12,and they adore Picket. They love taking him outside to run and get all his energy out, it helps the kids as well. They seem to turn the TV and video games off more, to spend time with our dog.He loves going to the dog park and hanging with other dogs. He loves exploring new areas so we take him on walks in the woods. He has been a real blessing to our family and can't imagine it without him. Thank you for helping us find him."
