Sebastian---ADOPTED!!!!!!! American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Pottsville, PA

UPDATE: Sebastian has finally been adopted (6/25/11). Thanks to his volunteer mom and dad who finally decided "enough was enough" and figured out a way to bring their baby boy home. We hope he has many happy, healthy days ahead of him. Thanks, Dawne and Marc. Miracles do happen and sometimes your dreams do come true! IT'S A BOY!!!

Side note: At no other shelter in America would a dog be doted on as much as Sebastian. Pit bulls get a bad rap but Sebastian (even though he is dog aggressive), managed to find a home. The Hillside SPCA tried very hard to provide the best care for Sebastian while he was with us, including: a tumor removal, neutering, bloodtests, skin scrapes, etc. What other shelter goes above and beyond? Answer: none. We truly care about our dogs and want to offer them the best we can...no matter what their breed. Thank you for supporting our shelter, Sebastian, and all the animals in our care!

Sebastian has been at our shelter for a few years now. It is so sad. He is such a loving, sweet boy. Sebastian only gets along with one other dog, that is Sasha (another pit bull up for adoption). Sebastian is an older dog...probably about 10 years old. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He has his own fan club and enjoys walks, trips in the car, and most of ball, just to be with people. We would love for Sebastian to be in a real home some day real soon!
