Meet Blackstone
This is Blackstone ("Stony"). He's an 1-year old old lab mix who was pulled from a high kill shelter in Carroll County. Stony is a very smart boy and knows ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘shake’, ‘stay’, and 'off’, comes when called, and is housebroken and crate-trained. Stony is a wonderful dog, and very devoted to his person. He follows his foster mom around the house, lays at her feet wherever she sits, and even comes back to 'check in' with her while romping at the dog park. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play tug, chase and wrestle with his foster brother. Stony is sometimes timid in new situations, but warms once he gets the chance to get comfortable. He loves kids, though older kids are probably better, since he's still bouncy. Stony may chase cats.
His adoption fee is $175 and covers the cost of the dogs spay or neuter, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.
