We are both so sweet but we havent had the easiest life. We were strays found near the clinic where a lot of the dogs and cats that are a part of this rescue live. Because we havent had the best life we are shy and afraid of dogs, cats and humans that we dont know. We will warm up to them but it will take some time before we are sure we can be trusting. Jack is a little braver than I am so he gets used to his surroundings a little faster than I do.
Once we do know that we can trust you we are the most affectionate pair of kitties ever. Our favorite thing is sitting with our Foster Mom while she pets us and scratches us behind our ears. Jack likes toys a lot, too. I am very interested in playing but I think my Foster Mom can tell that Im just not ready to trust my new situation, yet. We both lived with a very nice lady for about the first year that we were in rescue. But she couldnt bring us to adoptions so we are still here looking for our forever homes. We really want to find our forever home and move in as soon as possible. I know Jack and I will make a difference in the lives of the family who ends up adopting us just as much as they will make a difference in ours.
We dont have to be adopted together but I would really prefer to go with my brother. Since hes the brave one it is really scary for me to think of having to live without him. Since we have such a hard time getting used to new people, places and pets we would do best in a home where there are no other pets. Well adjust, though, if you do have other pets. Itll just take us a little longer to feel at home.
We have never lived with children, either. We are very sweet and even when we are really scared by our Foster Mom we have never done anything to hurt her. Wed probably be ok with kids but were just not sure since weve never met any.
Just so you know, we live with both dogs and other cats in the house so we can make it work if you can. Our current feline foster brothers and sisters havent really accepted us, yet, so if you have cats I hope they are sweet and loving.
We always use our litter box, although sometimes when Im scared I dont want to come out of my hiding place. We are very good cats. Please dont let the fact that we are shy and sometimes afraid prevent you from considering us for adoption. We want a human (or a whole family of them) to call our own.
Our fur is so soft and you will immediately feel how sweet we are once you pick us up. Im just sure you will want to adopt both of us once you get to know us.
