Recently Chaps accompanied us to a Patco adoption event. With hundreds of people and just as many dogs Chappie did great. His unique markings, big body, long ears and huge personality made him a croud favorite. By the end of the day everyone had made friends with Chappie. He got along great with all the other dogs, kissed children and had a great time. He would do excellent in a home with other dogs, no matter how big or small they are (he made friends with a 3lbs yorkie) and older children because he doesnt realize he is not a small dog and his size gets in the way just a bit.

Large breed dogs like Chaps dont truely mature until about 2 years old so if you are interested in Chappie remember you are getting a 70lbs dog with puppy tendancies. Chappie is an avid counter surfer and while he loves to play he can get a little mouthy and forgets his own strength. He would need consistant rules, lots of excercise and an owner that is able to convey exactly what is expected of him.
