Kisses Shih Tzu Mix Sioux Falls, SD

I will be at the Meet and Greet in Madison, SD on April 3rd from 10am-1pm! Please call ahead if the weather is questionable if you are traveling from out of town to make sure I will be there. See you at Pamida!



Kisses is an adorable shih tzu with a personality to match! You might remember Kisses; she was with us last summer and was adopted. Unfortunately her adopters had a crises and could not keep Kisses. Kisses was originally rescued from a puppy mill. She had a severe eye injury upon rescue, and that eye was removed. Kisses does just fine with one eye. She likes other little dogs and loves women! Kisses does need to eat a certain food as recommended by the vet. Please email us for an adoption application!



Kisses is spayed, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested and had a dental cleaning. Her adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.


Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.


We do not ship our dogs.
