Meet Gypsy*Adopted

9/23/2010 - Gypsy is doing well after her sugery. She is going in for weekly checkups and is getting used to her daily eye medicines. Gypsy will need to be adopted to a home where there are no other dogs and she requires a fenced yard, Someone should be home to give her eye meds as prescribed by her doctors. Gypsy LOVES humans, so be ready to be showered with lots of love and affection! If you feel you can give Gypsy the forever home she needs, please fill out an application.6/19/2010For all of the supporters of this sweet little girl, we are getting close to raising the amount of money needed for her cataract surgery, and we thank everyone that has contributed and for their part in helping to give Gypsy the gift of sight! As with all rescues it is sometimes difficult to evaluate them to let everyone know about their "quirks". Gypsy is a very sweet loving little girl that truly loves to be with her humans. She is very spunky and one happy little girl. SCMR has just learned that Gypsy does not get along as well with other dogs and that she will need to be adopted to a forever home where she will be the "star" and the only furkid. At this point we do not know how she is with cats or small children. Thanks again to everyone for their ongoing support of Gypsy!6/5/10 Hi everyone, it's me Gypsy. I've been having such a great adventure. My foster mom took me to an ophthalmologist. He took a strange machine and looked into my eyes. I was a little scared, but I stayed very brave, and you know what? The doctor said that he can do something called surgery on my eyes that will make it so that I can see again! I'm so excited because I have been blind so long, making it not so much fun to run anymore, 'cause I tend to bump into things. My Foster mom says I run like the wind, even though I have week knees, but that doesn't stop me, they don't hurt me at all and my doctor agrees! I said, "Nope, they sure don't, and off I go! You can check out my video to see how much fun I have!"
I really do want to be able to see again. It would be great if you could help me. Just mention my name..GYPSY...if you'd like to give a donation. Even one dollar would help so much. Thanks, and I hope I'll be seeing you soon. 4/14/10 We would like to give Gypsy the gift of sight. We are accepting donations towards her cataract surgery. If you would like to donate, please mention Gypsy's name when doing so. *******GYPSY'S ANGELS*******Stephen SomervilleSusan LeavittBobbie CohenKerry GlynnSuzan RobertsonHanmington WongHeartmade for YouMichelle RobinsonChristine McKinneyLaura & Delilah Rose of My Little Princess BoutiqueJeanne BrayeCarol WoodsLeandra LaFraziaDebra BlahaEdith VelezMary AndersonAmy CheungJelena KrilovaMargaret SharpCindy WongMaureen WestJamie LoyFur Baby Products&Services,IncJames A.Griffin3/16/10 Hi, my name is Gypsy Girl. I weigh 10 pounds and I am 4-5 years old. I was found as a stray. I lost my way because I have cataracts and can't see well. I was in pretty bad shape when my foster mom got me out of the shelter. I am all cleaned up now and feel much better. My foster mom said I am going to be beautiful when my hair grows back out. She told me it will be so nice and white and straight and silky. Gypsy is a very sweet girl. When you pick her up, she likes to put her little arms around your neck and give you a hug. She gets along with all her foster brothers and sisters. If you want a sweet little girl, Gypsy is the one. She will be waiting for you in Longwood,FL. Adoption Donation: $75
