At around a year old, Gulliver is no Lilliputian. In fact, this 50-pound bundle of love will still grow a bit more and fill out ever-so handsomely. Gulliver is still a puppy really, full of play and romping and plenty of toys.


He takes to people quickly and is very affectionate, which means Gulliver should be great with kids – though his size may not mesh with smaller children. Other dogs are also terrific with Gulliver. That just means more playtime and romping only not just by himself.


Being a Lab, Gulliver is already on the upper echelon of intelligence. This means he’ll do fabulously in obedience class, which at his youthful age, will be a must. A fenced yard would be fabulous, too, as would the occasional lengthy car ride and maybe a round of fetch at the dog park.


We’re not certain about Gulliver’s house or crate training as yet. But what we do now is that he’s a loving, happy guy who’ll make a wonderful, all-around family dog. That should be enough for you to travel to see Gulliver right away.


Gulliver is attending Pet Haven's medium/large dog adoption events and his adoption fee is $320 (cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
