Derby was turned over by his owner, along with his brother (Kodiak) due to financial issues. Derby has been around other dogs and children his entire life & is very outgoing and friendly. Our volunteers and staff have helped him excel with walking on a leash and house training, and he seems willing to learn much, much more. Remember, having a dog this young, will require a patient loving family. One who will teach him but also love him. Puppies are great additions to any loving family but the willingness to let him participate in your life must be present in order for it to work out well. Please consider him as a new member to your family. Please consider, owning a dog is a huge commitment but the rewards are so worth it!
