Abyssinian Mix: An adopted cat in Shelburne, NS

Mandy is so cute. Her personality is just blossoming! I'm so proud of her progress. She came into our care on March 10, 2010 with most of her fur missing and very scared. Now she is the first cat to great me in the morning and loves a rub and attention. She loves other cats and has taken to one of my male cats "Boo." We joke that they are boyfriend and girlfriend as they stroll the shore together. She curls up on a futon near the window to lay in the sun and watch the birds at the feeder. Her hair is just starting to grow back. She is clean with the litter, likes to explore outdoors, LOVES my dog and It's neat to see her come out of her shell. The "Special Need" is that she is VERY scared when you go to try and pick her up. Ya just don't know what they have been through in their 'previous life.' She loves to explore outside.
