Emily Husky & German Shepherd Dog Mix Green Bay, WI

Woof, woof. I’m Emily. I’m approximately 2 years old and probably a German Shepherd/Husky mix. My special trait is my one blue eye and one brown eye, which everyone thinks is so cool and beautiful when they see me for the first time. I came from HEA from a hording situation where the woman had over 300 dogs, leaving me to get little love and socialization. Since coming to HEA, I thought I found my forever family not once but twice. When I got into the homes, I reacted poorly to people doing things fast, such as strangers entering the door, or a big guy getting up from a chair. In my second home, I was great with my mommy and loved her lots, but I just couldn't get used to the two guys in the house (a seventeen year old and a husband). So at this point, my perfect forever family would be a house with either just a woman, or a woman with a very understanding and "non-threatening" husband. I greatly enjoy walks and sitting under the shade tree while being pet. Oh, and I should tell you I have a favorite toy. It’s a green rubber ball that squeaks so maybe if you took me home you could get me one and lots of other toys too of course! I can’t wait to have a family of my own and hopefully I find one soon…maybe it’s you! ~ Gentle Kisses, Emily
