Meet Sandy - ADOPTED
Sandy is a 4-month-old female cairn terrier. She is active, funny, athletic, fast, and very, very sweet. She loves people, dogs and even tolerates cats. She is a typical cairn puppy so she's hard-headed and impulsive. She's working on her housetraining. She's about 75% there. Establishing a schedule and sticking to it will help Sandy finish the job. Like all cairn terriers, she will require obedience training. This will help with socialization, bonding to her new family, and understanding what is expected of her in her new home.
Sandy will need to be spayed at 6 months of age. She will be placed in a new home based on a spay clause in the adoption contract. This will require a refundable deposit and proof of spay when she is 6 months old.
Sandy is up-to-date on vet care and shots, up to this point.
Because we are a regional organization with limited volunteers, you must be a resident of Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, or Washington DC to adopt from us.
This dog is located in a private foster home. Please complete an Adoption Application if you are interested in this dog.
