Please note: Gus has been adopted! My name is Gus! I enjoy spending time close to people or my big sisters Gypsy and Kimber, making sure y'all smile at least 10 times a day minimum. I can usually be found with my Nylabone in my mouth as I hucklebutt (run around like a mad man) around the back yard. I like to chew on resilient toys like Nylabones since I tend to shred soft toys. I do not destroy furniture or the yard and have got sit, down, leave it and drop it mastered. I will always wait patiently for my food. I don't mind being brushed or having my feet touched when you do my nails. I LOVE the water and nothing is more fun than running down a narrow stream as fast as I can or just laying in mucky puddles! I also sleep in my crate throughout the night without making a peep. I am wary of young children below 12 years of age, but my foster parents are working with me on that. I also tend to get nervous with sudden hand...

I also tend to get nervous with sudden hand movements and loud noises and will need constant reassurance until I get over my initial hesitations. Gus is a neutered 1 year old male (turned one on May 10, 2010) currently weighing 30 pounds. Gus is microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on his shots. Gus is being fostered in Fayetteville, NC.
