Mia Calico Mix Manalapan, NJ

This sweet girl is Mia. Mia is a DSH calico female cat who was rescued from the Perth Amboy shelter. Mia is very special. She has feline cerebellar hyposplasia (Wobbly Kitten Syndrome), but that doesn't stop her from getting around and enjoying life. Kittens that have feline cerebellar hyposplasia have wobbly heads, legs that shake, and they offten fall over when they walk. Kittens learn to compensate somewhat as they grow, can live a normal life expectancy with no other health problems, and are well able to live full and happy lives when in the care of understanding humans. Mia is a very playful kitten. She keeps her back legs spread apart to help her keep her balance. She is not able to jump. Mia is a really great cat and would be a great companion in a loving home.
