Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Husky Mix: An adopted dog in North Haledon, NJ
Smokey is a beautiful 18 month old malamute (or husky) mix boy. He is black and white with an angular, slender build, about 40 lbs. Smokey loves to kiss and yearns for human attention. He is good with children and loves to kiss babies! Smokey is crate trained and housebroken. He has a short coat and bright white teeth. Smokey rides great in the car and is a quiet dog, but he is full of energy. He loves to play with balls and tug ropes and loves to eat! He bounces around like a big puppy.
Smokey's whole life was spent chained to a tree with very little attention paid to him. Finally, his owners didn't even want to bother feeding him so a neighbor offered to take him. She couldn't keep him though, and found our rescue group. We just couldn't resist taking in this sweet, wonderful boy.
All of our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested if over 5...
