Interesting Stuff About SPRITE:

What one generally thinks about when they hear the word 'Sprite' is a lemon-lime flavored soft drink; however, the dictionary meaning reads the following: "a small being, human in form, playful and having magical powers. like a fairy or an elf." SPRITE the cat, does have a bit of a surreal look with her long fluffy white fur. Using some imagination, one just might think that there is a bit of fairy in her. She is playful and her magical powers evolve around her ability to draw you into her affections. One is easily smitten by her. She is friendly, very affectionate, loves to hang out with humans, and is a wonderful companion. She's a great listener; very alert when people are talking and will often 'mouth' replies. Her meow is barely audible which is why it appears that she is answering your words with a silent meow.

Sprite's look is as interesting as her personality. She is a 'Persian' mix which by definition means she is extraordinary in many ways. Following are words from Wikipedia that captures their very nature: "Persian cats are noted for their gentle temperament and ease with which they adjust to new environments. They are quiet and, although not shy, tend to be undemonstrative. They are quite loving and affectionate and make wonderful companions, and come in a variety of colors. The Persian cat has graced the show scene for more than 100 years. Judges and spectators have been impressed with their sweet, gentle nature and long flowing coats. Due to their 'squashed' faces, it is not uncommon for Persians to have moderate discharge from their tear ducts."

Sprite makes it easy to care for her long flowy white fur. She just loves to be brushed. In fact, if she thinks that you haven't spent enough time brushing her she will tap the brush to signal to you that a few more strokes are needed. Did we mention that she is also very smart?
