05/10-Happy Hope is just that-full of happiness and joy. You cannot help but smile when you are around her because she is just so full of sweetness. She is definitely a favorite of many of our volunteers!
Don't tell her she is missing a leg because she doesn't know! Just like most dogs with an amputated leg, it barely affects her. She loves her walks, though you may deviate to a few cars parked along the way because she loves to go for car rides too.
Hope is living in a home with a foster brother dog, who she loves to snuggle with and wrestle with too. She is a super smart girl and picks up new obedience easily. Being super treat motivated sure helps. Though she doesn't live with one now, we do know she ignores cats as though they aren't there. She also loves kids.
