Tortoiseshell Mix: An adopted cat in Noblesville, IN

She was an author and illustrator of childrens and nature books. She loved cats and dogs and all things in nature. She was still working in her garden and painting even when she was very old, by human standards. I like to think that I am named for her. I too am aged to perfection at approximately 10 years old. I found myself at the HSHC on October 25, 09 which was a very good thing. Being front declawed, I was never meant to be a stray kitty. I was very, very thin and I had an eye infection. But I was so very grateful to be someplace warm, dry and out of danger that I didnt care. The good people here took care of me, gave me medicine and plenty of nourishing food.
