My name is Lizzie and I am a 1.5 year old Chinese crested dog. I only weigh approximately 7lbs right now but I am quite under weight as I was a stray dog from a shelter up North. I probably won’t weigh more than 10lbs once I get plumped up. I love to play with toys and run around playing fetch! I am bouncy and full of energy. I have one blue eye which you can't tell by the pictures since a flash was used. I am a hairy hairless Chinese crested dog, which means I have tufts of hair on my head, feet, and tail and the rest of the hair on my body is very sparse. I will need lots of warm clothes for the winter months and sunscreen during the summer to prevent me from getting sun burnt.


I like to announce visitors at the door but I am quick to warm up to strangers. I love being right by my foster mommy as I am an excellent lap dog! I have been doing great with potty training so far and I love sleeping in bed under the covers with my foster mommy. I need to go to a home with no small children or large dogs as I am very small and petite and one misstep could break my tiny legs. I am crate trained and up to date on all shots and also spayed. I am what you call a “submissive smiler” which means I show my teeth when I am nervous or being submissive. This look can be mistaken for aggression but I am the sweetest gentlest dog there could be! I just like to smile! I am great with other small dogs and cats and I would love a forever home with another small dog to be my playmate. It would have to be small as I am afraid of large dogs!!
