Shadow Cocker Cocker Spaniel & Spaniel Mix Willingboro, NJ

Shadow was adopted through BCAA three years ago and was much loved by his owner. She became terminally ill and her family returned him to our Rescue. He is in a foster home and doing great. His Foster Mom Val says that he loves his stuffed squeaky toys, playing fetch and running around like a race horse in the back yard. He can also catch treats and toys in his mouth. He loves to walk on the leash and picks up the leash and starts walking himself around if you take too long to get to the door. He loves to cuddle and enjoys sleeping with his Foster Mom at night. He's a very happy guy who knows how to get your attention when he wants to snuggle. He puts his two paws up, wags his tail, wraps one paw around your hand and lays his head on the couch and stands there. How could you resist not letting him come up on the couch! Shadow is 7 years old and weighs about 38 lbs. He has some allergies and has to be on special dry food, but that's no big deal for him. We are looking for a family that will love and care for him and participate in his daily life of fun. A fenced in yard is a requirement. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots and housebroken.
