BABE
This cute little fella is ready for his own forever family. He is looking for love and a safe haven. He's done with abuse and outside living and abandonment. He is ready for Luve. He is cute as a button, good with female dogs (not male dogs), good with cats, good with babies and respectful children. He is loyal and protective.

If you've followed this sweety's story, you know that he's been through quite an ordeal in his short life already. See here: http://members.petfinder.com/~TN303/help.html.

Babe is healed now and he can run, scratch himself, wrestle with his doggie siblings. Nothing stands in his way. It is a joy to see after all the misery he went through. He plays like he never had anything wrong with him to begin with.

Babe is a happy boy. He loves his person. Indeed, he loves women and babies and children.  He is afraid of some men.   He is not needy or jealous. He just wants to be near his persons and get and give his love, the occasional kisses and wiggles.

Babe is good with non alpha female dogs his own size or smaller. He is not good with male dogs ~ he thinks he has to protect his family from other male dogs. He is not food aggressive and eats side by side with his girlfriends, but does not like to share his bones. What dog does?

So far we have found only one issue with him: He is afraid of some men and some children. He's been kicked around by young children, as witnessed by his foster mom, and it is clear from his fear of some men that he was severely abused by one or more men. So we are looking for the right man that Babe can trust.

Babe will be adopted to an inside forever home only. Reference and vet checks as well as home visits are required. No rentals please. Fence required. Babe's adoption fee of $200 will be used to help other abused dogs like Babe.
