OLIVE is a Calico beauty Calico cats are nearly always female. Throughout history, many cultures have considered the calico cat to be lucky. In Japan, calico cats are thought to bring good luck in the house and to protect sailors on their ships."


Olive has had a bit of a rocky life. She was originally brought to CAT by a good Samaritan (who described Olive as "wonderful and very trainable") with her mom and four other siblings. All were adopted, including Olive; however, her adoption did not turn out to be the "forever" home she was hoping for. A year later Olive was returned to CAT. Her previous adopter said "She is a great companion. She likes to be in the same room with you." Olive was also described as being quiet, playful, and affectionate. In addition, the staff at CAT finds her to be curious (she's quite the explorer) and somewhat independent (she's not the clingy kind). Olive wants to be in a home again where she can love and be loved. Could that home be yours?
