Dexter's mommy is keeping us updated with pictures and stories on Facebook. We love that! Here is what she had to say about meeting Dexter for the first time. "I had been searching for a dog for a few months and found some great ones, but I hadn't moved yet and I wanted to wait to be settled in. I live in downtown Columbus and I'd never been to Marysville. I had spoken with the Canine Collective before, but had never gone to see any dogs because of the 40 minute drive and a tight schedule. I just happened to be heading to Marysville when Shay e-mailed me about Dexter potentially being a match to what I was looking for, so I stopped by and met him. He was such a handsome, sweet, and friendly dog. We seemed to bond instantly. I couldn't get him out of my mind, so I adopted him. He is the perfect dog! He is so fun and energetic yet also loves to curl up next to me and relax. The first night I had him, I couldn't stand to put him in his crate because he had the sad puppy eyes going on. He fell asleep on the floor in my room, but when I woke up the next morning he was on my bed. I was laying on my right side and so was he. His chest was pressed up against my back and his paw was draped over my side - he was literally cuddling with me!! I've only had him for a few weeks, but I already can't imagine life without him :) He's adjusted so well!!"
