DAWN is a young adult Beagle mix that has a beautiful black and white coloration. She is 7 years-old and weighs 42 pounds. This friendly dog has a sweet nature and settles in easily. We do not know much about her history, but have observed that she seems to have been loved. Perhaps her owner fell on hard times, or was taken ill. Whatever the cause of her homelessness DAWN is going to make a wonderful companion for many years. She is a great age to adopt with puppy behaviors behind her and many years of love ahead. DAWN has the curiosity of her breed and it is necessary that she be secure in a fenced in yard. Beagles have a tendency to roam as they are scent hounds. She does love going on walks, and will enjoy playing fetch as well. The beagle is a good choice as a family pet with older teenage children. This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.
