| KINSLEY'S PHOTO GALLERY |
~DOB: September 2009
AGE RANGE: Young puppy -- extremely cute, needs lots of your time and attention. Your availability for daily training and reinforcement is critical. Could be inappropriate for children under 5 who have no experience around small puppies who nip fingers to initiate playtime!
PROJECTED WEIGHT WHEN FULL GROWN: 50lbs.
HEALTH STATUS: Kinsley is UTD on her puppy shots and on monthly heartworm prevention.
STERILIZED: Spayed.
MICROCHIPPED: Yes.
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Kinsley has typical energy for a puppy. She is very playful one minute and then crashes for a nap the next.
SOCIABILITY WITH DOGS: Excellent. From our observation, Kinsley has yet to meet a dog she doesn't like.
SOCIABILITY WITH CATS: Kinsley is curious about cats, and even a little afraid, but we feel she would do fine in a home with a dog-savvy kitty.
AROUND CHILDREN: Although there are no children in Kinsley's current foster home, but she's had plenty of experience around children so far and has done fine.
HOUSEBROKEN: Working on it. Kinsley is quickly learning that "outside" is where to go to do her business!
CRATETRAINED: Yes
LEASH MANNERS: Kinsley is learning to walk on a leash. She will need some more training, but will master it in no time.
IN THE CAR: Excellent car rider. Kinsley rides in a crate in the car to keep her safe.
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Happy, loving, eager to please, extremely intelligent.
STATUS: Applications closed
COMMENTS FROM FOSTER HOME: Kinsley is an awesome puppy! She has learned the routine very quickly. She has experience with a doggie door, and has learned how to play with other dogs in her foster home.
Kinsley is outgoing, sweet and smart. She is working on her house training. She knows how to sit for a treat and thinks every time she sits she should get one.
Kinsley will play with her toys, chew on her bone, and run around the fenced in yard for some time. Then she will come in, go right in her crate and pass out for a well deserved nap. If you pick Kinsley to be part of your family you will have chosen a loyal and loving pet.
HISTORY: Kinsley and her brother Jax were found wandering on a farm. The landowner took them to a local kennel and told the people there he was going to dispose of them if the kennel didn't take them. Luckily a BFPA volunteer was working at the kennel and took immediate action to save their lives. These are some very lucky puppies!
