Vander Doberman Pinscher Harahan, LA

Hi, my name is Vander - entire name Evander but people around here just call me Vander. I know when you look at me at first, you probably think my ear is just turned back. But it isn't - its gone. Someone cut my ear off - probably an attempt to do a home crop. My friends at GCDR can't figure out why anyone would do a cruel & painful home crop - much less half of one and then dump me and my siblings in a commonly used "dog dumping area" in the country. Lucky for me, a very persistent animal control officer managed to catch me. You can imagine after what I had been thru - I gave it my best shot not to get caught. But now I'm living in a nice place and I'm very much loved. One of the vet's at LSU took care of my ear until it healed and I'm thankful for that. Its healed now and this is the look I will have for life. I may not have both ears but look at what I can do with my eyes. I can make sweet faces at you all day long and never get tired of hearing how adorable I am. I'm not a pure dobie puppy but other than my hair being a tad longer, I'm pretty close. I'm a very sweet puppy. I love to play with other dogs and I'm OK with kitties because I'm a gentle little guy. I'm up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and scheduled to be neutered and microchipped. I'm just under 4 months old and still have all my puppy teeth. Hey look at my eyes again - you know you love me don't you?
