Meet Silver

I was surrendered to LAPS as a stray. I have an old injury that wasn't given medical attention and I now have arthritis and a slight limp. I have also tested positive for FIV. Don't fret, this isn't a death sentence. I can live a relatively normal cat life, we just need to be careful that I'm not exposed to sick or untested cats as FIV suppresses the immune system. The funny thing about the FIV test is that it only tests for antibodies, so I may just be a carrier, we'll never know, unless the testing is perfected in my lifetime. I share my room with a few other FIV positive kitties and we get along quite well, so if you're looking to add two furry companions to your family, please consider us!
