DELILA is a 3 year-old fawn colored Chihuahua mix that weighs 12 pounds. She has dark pleading eyes that appear to be surrounded with Kohl. Her look is mysterious and sensitive. She has a history, however, we do not know why she ended up at the shelter. What we have observed is that she is sensitive and would make a wonderful companion to a couple or single person. She does get along with other dogs, but tends to guard her food a little. This is n ot a problem and in a multiple dog family could be fed along until she is comfortable. Often times this behavior diminishes as a dog becomes secure. Life on the streets is never easy and foraging for food is difficult. With tender loving care DELILA will thrive and she will be eternally grateful. This is a dog that yearns to be held and cuddled. This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.
